Our situation was tricky to navigate as we were both buying to upgrade and also sell our existing home. Life-changing decisions around purchasing and selling your home is stressful on its own, so you can imagine how we were overwhelmed to have to undertake both at the same time. We needed an expert on our side that could assist us with both, and with a lot at stake, we wanted to ensure we had the best person working on our side. We interviewed several agents, ensuring each had relevant expertise in the area we were looking and extensive experience in the industry, but nobody else quite fit as easily as Kristy.

Working with her was seamless from the start and she made us comfortable in every step of the way. On the buying side, she took note of our personal situation and what we were looking for in our new home. She was considerate, and not forceful, when providing advice and showed patience, understanding but remaining clear-headed when we were at times uncertain about what to do. On the selling side, we were able to leverage her relationships in the industry ensuring we had the best agent working on the sale of our existing home.

The result was something like pulling a rabbit out of a hat and everything lined up perfectly in the end. The home we bought was something that we had already given up on as the advertised price was initially above our budget. My wife and I were unaware that it had passed in at auction so were already looking elsewhere, but little did we know that Kristy had kept in touch with the selling agent to jockey us into the best position for the subsequent purchase. Also being aware that we needed to sell our existing home, she was able to secure a 120-day settlement, allowing us to comfortably prepare our home for sale. She helped us appoint a selling agent who executed really well, and provided her advice before and during the campaign to make sure we got the best result in the end.
